brake pads

Hi im josh. Recently bought a 2001 325i. Love it so far. Getting ready to do my first brake job. Any suggestions on which pads to buy?

Welcome to the forum! I went with Akebono, I like them there isn't much dust
and they have good stopping power. You'll get more responses in the wheel and brake sub-forum.

You own a bmw...the bmw pads are made by textar which you can get for $50ish...measure rotors and see if they're above minimum thickness.

If your brake pad sensors went off, get to the pads right away hoping that your rotors are still good for another set...once pad backing plate touches the rotors, they're gone.

Textar...available without Roundel for cheaper than at dealer.

Forget the low-dusting, almost as good as OE. Get the OE pads...stop like a bmw.
