don't do it unless you have disposable income.

custom driveshaft
relocated brake booster
random misc. lines
welding the dipstick
routing the fan, hell even figuring out ac is a pain.
new oil pan and pick up

etc. bunch of little things, flashing the ecu to disable the immobilizer.

Made the 2 hour + drive out to have C work on my suspension. Dude worked fast. Real cool guy. AND only charged me less than half of what most people wanted. Go give the guy a visit. Would make the drive out there for future work.

Well I think the guy I did the swap for spent a good 2k in parts alone to get the swap going. New mounts, new fluids, oil pan, pick up, and labor.

The engine alone might cost you what a full changeover with transmission, 3000$? You're probably looking at 6 - 7k to tell you the truth. I'm probably exaggerating but if you are a penny pincher type I wouldn't recommend the swap. If your still up for it, we can negotiate a flat labor rate. It would take me about a week to tackle it. It was WELL WORTH it at the end though, the power difference was too crazy.

@Roy, it was nice to meet you man. Thanks for driving out from Bakersfield, still doesn't beat the record of someone driving over from San Francisco lol.

Cholea, ordered my diff bolts, that I need 15 min of your time to install . Need you to just do some inspecting around my diff area too. Been getting a clunk.

Finals for me end Thursday so tell me when I can cruise through to get this done.

You have my facebook and usually it's the bushing that has probably worn out by now when you are getting that clunk.

Let's do this. I just changed my oil yesterday which i was going to do at your place. Diff bushings are brand new . Thats why I'm pissed off. It's only under engagement of the gear or releasing the clutch until it catches the gear. Let me know when I can cruise through. Shouldn't be too much of your time. Cheers!
