Yep. After the shot the only thing holding his middle finger on was a little bit of skin. It's gone now.

I can tell you .50BMG is nothing to screw with.

I was making a project with a live .50 blank round, I emptied and I let it soak in water for a while to kill the primer. I went to cut the head off with a cut off wheel attached to a die grinder.

BOOM.....

blew up the wheel and sent shrapnell all through both hands, I was even bleeding from my chest and lip. I was picking brass and parts of the wheel out of my hands for a week.

I wish I still hand the pictures.

^Wait so the primer is what exploded and sent shrapnel everywhere? Was there powder in the casing?
