I'd just go back to stock.

If you want to keep it get the afe or K&n filter cleaner spray and follow those instructions. The filter costs around $50-60 anyways.

If it's blue and circle, definitely not oem. Is it just attached to practically your maf sensor? Is it sitting there practically naked in your engine bay with no heat shield cover? I'm assuming since you did not refer to it by its name brand (and had you spent $400 on it I'm sure you would be aware of how to maintain it), it's probably robbing you of hp in it itself. Cleaning it would only help regain lost hp but still leave yiu robbed.

That also means that granny you pulled up next to revving your engine. All she gotta do is slap it into sport mode, floor it and would eventually dust you in her stock 330

some can be washed (cleaned) and re-charged (oiled).
you need to find out which one you have as some aren't meant to be reused.

The Dinan intake is good stuff. The filter does not look washable. You'll need a new filter from Dinan for $49.00.

Ah, well Dinan uses K&N brand filters. I don't know for sure and no mention of it in their website description, but those are often reusable.
