Heater seems to always be on???

Good morning all,

I have a question, on my 330, it feels like the heater is always on...I the the temp to auto and even when I turn it all the way down to 60 it is blowing hot air. I feel the vents up by the windshield and they are really hot.

Anyone have any ideas I might try?

Thank you,

Mixing valve likely needs to be replaced...

If you tackle this which is very easy, make sure you read how to bleed your cooling system properly if you haven't already......

BMW PN is 64118369805

I believe I have a brand new one in my garage if interested. Was going to replace it on my 530 (same PN) but didn't need to. I had a leaking heater core, different symptoms (glass fogging up)

If you do want it, let me know by Friday as I will be out of town for two weeks. Make me an offer, new one will cost you $100

Thank you

Thank you for the reply...how much do you want for the part you have? I like your convertible, I am looking for rims like that for mine, and the bumper as well.

I am located in CA.

Just checked the PN I gave you, the one for my 530 is different so I can't help you.

You can get it here for $72 plus shipping:

Thanks for the compliments. The wheels are SSR GT3's which are no longer produced. The bumper was customer made for me from an M-tech II bumper. The reflectors were shaved, the splitters and fog covers were then molded into the bumper then sprayed.

Before and after

Would you sell it? If so for how much? And is it in good condition? I would need to check and see if it would fit on my car.

I would assume you could find one local which would be more cost effective.

Here's a way to do a nationwide search at salvage yards:

Also, not sure where you are located in CA but these guys have everything:
