I have myrtle wood trim in my M3. Real wood, eucalyptus, is a rarity, but it's out there.

i googled, but i wanted to see if anyone here had it. to see if the swap is worth the effort. guess i have to start looking for an interior trim set. what would go well with a cinnamon interior?

This purely depends on your esthetic tastes. Replacing your trim is very easy. As long as you like how it looks you'll be fine.

I really like some of the lighter burled finishes that were available.

I have seen people wishing to trade their myrtle wood sets for other styles. The wood isn't very slick, after all; perhaps elegant, but not slick.
