OFFICIAL: why did you choose that username?

Nobody has ever asked me this. I will start by saying my username is the same as all my social networks. People have always called me Mini Mike because of my old school Mini Cooper that I would daily. I was at a car show that Fatlace was hosting a few years ago and I got one of their illest lanyards. I wore it around my neck because I ALWAYS lose my keys! One day my good friend Adam looked me and was like "wassup illestminimike." All my friends started laughing and it sorta stuck so I when I made a twitter I made my name @illestminimike and continued to make that my name for everything else. Ever since I got that lanyard I wear one everyday. Not sure but to me it's the best place to keep my keys without losing them or stuffing my pockets with them.

Joined bimmerforums in 2005 when I got my e36. Went with na because my e36 was naturally aspirated. When I got the 330 recently I just kept the same username when I joined this forum.

Redadair was a distant relative of mine. Who was Redadair? John Wayne played him in the movie Hellfighters. Redadair was and is still considered the the first and best oil well fire fighter ever.

My Italian last name is a little hard to pronounce, so my buddies were walking around in Vegas drinking 40's after helping there grandmother move and came up with Fixture. They have been calling me that now for about 15 years.

My first Xbox Live name back in the ooooooold days. NightRaider - Sounds like Knight Rider, Raider was the mascot for my local High School team. 93 is my birth year.

My personality. I'm a very unforgiving person. I used unforgiven after the old Clint Eastwood flick because it sounds way cooler than unforgiving.

For every site that requires a login and for so many sites I have registered I always use firstname first letter of last name and a full stop/period to separate. The characters/name defined herein after determines which site I use the login for.

I do these so is easy to remember by username for a particular site.

Chris = first name.
V = first letter of last name.
E46 = being the site I use the username for.

Make sense?

I started as AtortolanniTFS, initial and last name sort of thing. I decided that it needed to be short and memorable so I would be recognized like names like dmax, mango, so I changed to boatshoe. It came from a conversation I was having about the M coupe, commonly called the clown shoe because of its shape. When asked what the z3 roadster is like, i replied "boat shoe".

I think you should just shorten to "Atorto" that's pretty unique and memorable.

Yeah... the first name is a mouth full.

It is very interesting to see the different reasons behind a name. Looking from the outside, I thought that name had to do with a love of boating.

I watched The Boondocks on Adult Swim. There's a character on there by the name of Thugnificent on the 2nd season 5 episode. Dude is the typical rapper that you can't take the hood out of him no matter where he's at. Lol

the number plates on my E46 seemed to be appropriate. i initially brought the plates online whilst drunk as a skunk, they came to my door a week later took me a few minutes to work it out but thats the story behind my user name

my car doesnt still look that ratty, the picture is when the car was just primered literally that morning and guide coated using laguna seca blue, current culour is slightly different (more white and pearl)
