Still looking for a front 3.46 diff

If anyone knows where I can find one i'd appreciate it. I plan on doing diff swaps on my 330xi. Its so hard to find a front 3.46 differential

actually no I don't have a rear diff...how much would you take for both? How bad was the rear end? Is it bad enough to have effected the rear diff?

No it didn't. Well I am not sure of the rear differential would just bolt up since it was a 5 speed automatic. You would need to look at the photos to see if it would just bolt onto your drive shaft or not. I know that it won't bolt onto my drive shaft which is why I am selling it. I believe you need both differential or same ratio differential if you want a 3.46 ratio. Otherwise you would need to swap the flanges and I don't know how complex that is.

Yeah I think i would have to add a flange or whatever, but I will be running a 3.46 in the front and rear..i'm just more concerned about getting a front one because they seem to be the hardest to find.

How can you tell if it's a 3.46 ratio? I have a front diff from a 02 325xi auto.

You mean Bavarian Auto Recycling. They are pretty good and if anyone would have one it would be them. We ordered some used transmissions from them a few times back when I worked at a Independent BMW shop. http://www.bmrparts.com/
