ARe the stock Amp and HK amp plug and play

I have a buddy who is changing his whole system and isnt going to use his HK amp or speakers. Are the harneses the same if I just wanna use the HK amp and speakers?

You should already have the HK AMP in the trunk area. If you are talking about adding an addtional AMP to the HK this would be difficult if you are adding just the HK AMP... My suggestion would be to replace all the speakers and the AMP with after market stuff. It is really easy to do. Lot of links on line to wire colors comming out of the HK amp. Just need a HI/Lw convertor for the Head unit outputs. Connect new amp. Use existing speaker wireing..

It is real easy..

I dont have the HK now, I have the stock amp. But I would be getting the HK amp and speakers for basically nothing. All I want to do is switch out the stock stuff I have for the HK stuff. So will I beable to just unplug the stock amp and plug in the HK amp and replace the stock speakers with the HK speakers? I will eventually do some aftermarket stuff, but not right now.

Also, is there one or 2 amps to the HK system, I am assuming one.
