Al Swank's "stance" e46 build

Hey guys my name's Alex"AlSwank" i'm 18 years old out of Baltimore, Maryland and this is the build on my 2004 BMW 325i. picked the car up back in early February after selling my w115 merc and bagged mk5. Always had a thing for bimmers and wanted to see what I could do with one. So here it goes.....
*you can also follow on Instagram @al_swank*

when I first got the car

A week after I picked up the car a crazy ex decided to key it, badly. Chewed up the entire drivers side of the car and hood.

Figured i might as well knock out some of the body work since the car needed to be resprayed anyway. Fenders were rolled and pulled to fit the wheels.

Broadway Static coilovers came in a couple weeks after. Shortened shock bodies, dampening adjustment, camber adjustment, 5in swift springs, spring rates are 16k up front and 18k in the rear.

These coilovers are amazing. Top quality, amazing ride, and they go soooo low....

quick snap after I finished installing them. More low soon, couldn't go any lower with the chunky stock tires on.

Picked up a nardi-torino wheel to give the interior some love

Wheels have been rebuilt and refinished... test fit coming soon

AC Schnitzer Type 1 17x9/10

Got the wheels mounted up and had a friend comeover and snap some pics, still need to dial them in and drop the car more but here it is

Got a couple rollers as well

Here are a couple shots by the homie DevinTheTerrible. This how the car is currently sitting still waiting on the adjustable control arms for the rear so I can dial the camber and get more drop out of the car. Couple euro goodies for the exterior coming in as well.

Been slacking a little on working on the car so not much new besides getting the control arms in and dropping the rear way down. Check out some cell phone pics i took while getting the camber arms on and an update on how the car is sitting.....looks bagged

installing these was a bit of a pain. A lot more trouble than i expected for just 4 bolts.

What I did was unbolt the shocks to take some pressure off then removed the bolts by the brakes. completely removed the rear most bolt holding the differential and loosened up the two bolts on the front of it so that I could move the differential up and slightly forward to get to the inner bolts holding the control arm. I DID NOT need to take out the axle like most people say needs to be done, you just need to shake em out once the bolts are unthreaded. You spend the most time just turning bolts on this install because of how poorly positioned they are.

This is how the car is sitting after the install(sorry for awful pics-plan on doing another shoot soon)

I need to align the rears badly the toe is wayyy off and causing the tire and lip to hit part of the fender. Once that's done ill drop the front more and dial everything in. Still waiting on some parts coming from europe, in the mean time i'm gonna start fabricating my own exhaust and shaving/cleaning up engine bay so stay tuned for that...lemme know what you guys think!
