Quick Question about LED Cup Holders!

So, I plan on doing Delmarco's BMW Cup Holder and Console LED Lights DIY tomorrow since the lights came in today.

My only question is that, since e46's don't have the center console bulb like the e36's, what should I use as my power/ground?

I was thinking about slicing into the LED in the ashtray using some quick connects, but would that be sufficient enough to power an additional eight LED's?

If not, anyone have any ideas? I really have no knowledge with electrical, so I'm teaching myself as I go.

Thanks in advance!

you can probably use the cigarette lighter wires, or the wires for the "phone connection"
