Your halogens aren't worth jack. Just change the thread to buying HIDs and save the halogens for backup incase one blows out.

Re: WTT: Halogens for Xenons + Cash

OP....I don't think your request is outrageous...there are many people who may want the OEM halogen headlights to retrofit morimoto projectors into them.

Look at SolidJake's e46 lighting guide.

You may want to keep those, and do the retrofit.

Not a DIY guy; thanks for the info though. Just rather not mess up anything on the car.

I'll pass. I have someone on M3F who wants to buy mine for $200, just asking for his OEM HID's for too much IMO and I'm trying to get his price down.

BTW, these halogens were sold for $300. Not worth anything? : http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=930283

Am I reading this correctly? You want to trade your halogens for someone's xenons WITH cash on top? Or did you meant to write that you wanted to trade your halogens WITH cash on top for someone's xenons? If you think someone will downgrade AND give you money I don't think you'll find anyone. However, the other way around possibly. I'm sure you could find someone willing to trade if YOU were putting cash on top, but that's not the way your original post reads.

Good luck man, I just bought a set of oem bi-xenons off an 06 M3 for my car. You'll find em sooner rather than later. Definitely look into doing the zkw lens swap too!
