New car dilema

I am in the market for a new/used car. I need a SUV of some sort. Local dealership has a 2011 limited 4runner, and a 2010 X5 3.0. Both are pretty evenly equipped. 4runner can be had for $31,500 and the X5 $34,500. I'm stuck between these two. Less mileage on the 4runner, but the X5 is a CPO with the extended warranty. What say the minds of OT? Maintenance I'm ASSuming is less on the 4runner. And the 4runner may hold its value a bit longer?

4 Runner. I have a 2004 and it's a great truck. Never had any problems and it runs great. I would also say that the 4 Runner is more reliable.

Had a 4Runner, I'll take the X5 all day. However I'm a snob who cares about his image.

I have an E70. Wouldn't own it without a warranty. Notorious for electrical gremlins, although mine hasn't had any problems. Pretty damn comfortable. I like it.

Thanks all. My ex has a '08 4runner and never had an issue, plus I have always liked 4runners. Thanks again!
