Nope. Islam is very egalitarian when it comes the burial process. Everyone goes in the same way, rich or poor.

The difference is that people are reaching the end of their rope. Enough is enough.

Which is kinda symbolically cool when you think about it. We all are born the same, we all die the same, because we are all just people on a life journey. When it begins and ends, we are all equal.

The difference is social media/internet. Thanks to that he's a pretty hated guy. No one wants to deal with the negative attention that's going to fall upon wherever he's buried.

If it concerns you so much feel free to inter him in your back yard.

+1 for cremation. That will avoid wannabe grave-diggers and nutcases in the future.

I like that alot actually.

That being said, aren't the dead supposed to be buried within 24 hours of their death? Since that hasn't occurred and a true islamic burial hasn't been performed, would it really matter if he was cremated? After all, since the burial has already been fvcked up, what's the harm in fvcking it up some more? I'm genuinely interested in this stuff; I know very little about it.

Cremation.

Unmarked grave.

Burial at sea off a private boat.

Shipped to Chechnya for a burial there.

Whatever, doesn't seem like an insurmountable problem.

Aren't there public/municipal cemeteries for indigent people where he could be buried in an unmarked grave?

Yale grad offers plot in Hamden cemetery for burial of Boston bomber

HAMDEN - A Yale Divinity School graduate says he is willing to donate one of his burial plots at a Mt. Carmel cemetery to the family of Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

"The only condition is that I do it in memory of my mother who taught Sunday School at the Mt. Carmel Congregational Church for forty years and taught me to love thine enemy," Paul Douglas Keane wrote on his blog, The Anti-Yale. "I own the plot. No one can refuse me access."...

Now there's a Christian that practices what he preaches.
