I don't think it makes the car look better, I think blue bowls look like "I can't afford xenons so here's the best I can do!"

If you wanna do an improvement, get some white LED bulbs to put in there. It will look much more modern. All you'll need to install is a resistor, maybe. Personally I can't stand two colors that always come OE on a car: dull yellow and amber. Yuck.

Blue high beam bowls..

I think it looks cool, but personally I don't feel like getting pulled over for this. Texas is pretty strict on lighting mods that really stand out like this. Best if luck!

Cops have better things to do than to pull someone over for yellow high beam bowls.

I feel like some people don't mess with a certain mod even if there's a really small chance of them getting pulled over..
I guess that's okay and all, but.. I've just never heard of anybody (ever) getting pulled over for tinted/colored lights.. unless it was completely tinted/black.
So your family friend does side work? I've had headers in my garage for over a year, just haven't wanted to cuss for 7 hours putting them in. Plus other projects always come up. Headers I guess are not high priority. But I would pay someone to put them in.

Eh I have 20% tint all the way around on my car but its not a primary offense. I just won't do anything that will cause them to pull me over and waste my time. I guess if you drive around enough without the plate or blue anything that has to do with your lights then they will get you at some point. 10 years ago I prob would have not cared, now I'm just older and grumpier hehe.

You know the example car has OEM xenons (I think). I would probably do this mod only if I HAD xenons because it means the high beam bowls are pretty much unused.

Whoever mixed the Phoenix yellow color was obviously trying to see how close to the line b/w ugly and cool they could get. For my taste, he balanced it on a knife edge.

He used to work at a shop in Seattle, but he recently got hired at BMW of Seattle. He knows my family so he cuts me a deal on most things, haha.

Where in the wide world can I buy krylon stained glass. I've looked everywhere in a 30 mile radius with no results.

Last time I went to michaels I was surprised by all of the cool stuff they have from the stained glass spray to the glass etch solution. When I was a kid I used to dread going there, thought it was the most boring place in the world.
But yeah Michaels probably has it.
