Alain Prost - the Professor handed Senna his ass multiple times. Mansell had the biggest pair of balls.

Senna was the undisputed rainmeister, though. He was on another level when the track was wet.

Schumacher was a great driver who allowed his douchebaggery to overshadow his accomplishments.

Yes. In particular, driving skills that didn't include running people off the track or parking their cars in the middle of the track during qualifying.

I think you've got to separate by era's. Jackie Stewart would clean up today.

I'm 36 and I watched Mansell, Senna, Prost, Schumacher, Hill, and others live. Senna was the best of them, especially when it rained.

Is it safe to assume that everyone that is saying Senna is only saying that post watching the Senna documentary?

Senna is now the bangwagon driver for most people to get behind. Like the Lakers, 49ers and Kings (all 3 of my teams unfortunately .) After "Rush" comes out I am sure people will start rooting for either Lauda or Thor..err....hunt

But it really is tough to encompass a driver on the same level as Andretti considering he was able to race in several different kinds of racing and be successful in all of them. Even exceptional drivers like Iceman have branched off in to other racing bodies but were not as successful. Perhaps it was the era and racing was easier but still I digress.
