They are DRL's......have nothing to do with lighting. Simply markers.

yep. i even love mine as DRLs too. they look aggressive in the rear view mirror when a nice sport packaged E46 (mtech bumpers) comes up behind you with DRLs. an identical car to mine came up from behind me rather quickly once with DRLs and for a few seconds I thought it was an E39 M5. just has a pure BMW look to it versus something that some kid took his "creativity" to. I still need to experiment with percentages of DRL brightness through coding. not sure if it works

No. The outers are still high beams. Both are high beams and serve different purposes and are dispersed much differently.

and you have bi-xenon with$20 DDM HID lets not forget. that makes a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference

I think it's cool looking, but I would never do it. I wouldn't want to lose my flashers and I wouldn't ever in my right mind be able to take a can of spraypaint to an OE BMW headlight.

I didn't paint the outers.....You know, if you are such a perfectionist, you would think you would have bought and M3 and not a base model 3 series

As far as I know, and correct me if I'm wrong here mango, he has a sports/premium 330i. Which is far from a base model 3 series. Probably around $45k new I'm guessing?
Not really sure how an m3=perfectionists car. You can make any car clean and perfect.

As I recall from your posts, your subframe is torn and you are running DDM HID. Not sure how you can make that statement when your car is in such condition.

My car is worth more than twice (probably three times, realistically) than yours is their current state and circumstance. Oh and there's the commercial thing

I know how you'll respond. (haha yeah right I have an M3 you have a base model e46 etc etc blah blah) but ask anyone here and they'll tell you which car they would rather have when give the choice between yours and mine. In fact they already have. I could link those posts if you wish??

Please stay on topic and stop trolling!

So, aside from personal preference, light output and attracting unwanted attention from you local PD. Is it coming down to a matter of color choice! It's pretty obvious that Black is a complete no no (in terns of light output) Yellow looks like a weak yes, with having a minimal impact on light output. And any other color (Blue, Red, Green etc..) seems like a overkill/trashy/rice?

That's a good way to put it. It's all about degrees. certainly yellow is better than black. but still very poor taste unless it came that way from the factory or is for racing purposes and is fully designed that way (not modded at home with a can of paint and a dream).

Everything prior to your childish remark was on topic. Subframe has been reinforced...you know that. As i have told you several times. DDM bulbs are still perfect ;D

Good luck selling your car for the price mine would sell for.

The black does look good. IMO

A little birdy told me that is a lie and repairs were not done. Just sayin'.

DDM bulbs are never perfect.

And as I've said, I've had more than one offer for what I have stated and more.
