Group Buy: BimmerBrakes GEN3 M54B25/30 Headers

Hey Guys,

The long awaited BimmerBrakes GEN3 headers are finally in stock! I know Iíve been eyeing these since they gave us a sneak peak almost a year ago

After a few e-mails with Anthony at BimmerBrakes, he agreed to a group buy.

Price is $400 shipped (Contiguous U.S. only) - minimum of 10. Thatís a great deal considering you get guaranteed fitment and customer service, not to mention arguably the best header design out there for our cars. Once we reach 10 commitments, a discount code will be provided.

Here is the link to check them out on their site:
http://www.bimmerbrakes.com/Performance-s/1862.htm

So, hereís the list ($ = Have paid):

1. RBbimmer - $
2. ams07r - $
3. NakNak -
4. blk02ci -
5. Afrodeezyak - $
6. sedanpowersc - $
7. 01e46325 - $
8. lovemy330ci - $
9. da Vinci - $
10. jamex - $
11. ATLZHP6M - $

Since the GB folks who have paid now have their headers on the way, below is the discount code...Anthony has allotted a total of 15 at this price...so pick up a set if you're in the market before they're gone...best deal out there by far, all things considered!

This GB is officially Over - Thank you Anthony for the great deal and service! I know all who purchased are enjoying/will be enjoying these!

~Ryan

Are these catless? If yes, any suggestions for adding high-flow cats with these and the Magnaflow 16533 cat-back on a 330?

Yes guys, these are catless. I've never really looked into hi-flow cats, but I'm sure if you search on here you'll find a few who've run them.

If the issue your worried about is the CEL and/or passing emissions, there are other options out there like the LC-1 and O2 Simulators...also I believe the Eurocharged tune can bypass the post cat monitoring...if you have to deal with the tailpipe sniffer, I believe you will have to spring for the cats

See #292
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...926232&page=15

These are the same design as the Technik Gen3 Headers which seem to have produced the best gains header-wise for our cars (no big difference compared to SS reps maybe a couple hp and tq) - see AggieE46's "My search for more NA power (Dyno time)" thread...he's got a dyno chart on there before his cams with the Technik Gen3's (also had some other N/A mods coupled with them on that pull though)...he has one of the strongest N/A dyno's for the M54B30.

The bottom line it's a proven design, and they're headers that BimmerBrakes guarantees to fit...they get rid of the highly restrictive stock exhaust manifold with cats...best bang for your buck mod-wise unless you go FI (Pricey but big gains) or NO2 (not my cup of tea, but maybe for others)

well what are you waiting for, let's see some pictures!

I read in the other thread that these could come with OEM gaskets, is this still the case or would we need to pick up a pair?
