I read in the other thread that these could come with OEM gaskets, is this still the case or would we need to pick up a pair?

Yes - this is a good point, it is cheap insurance to pick up a set of OEM gaskets with the purchase of any set of headers, whether you're spending $1,500 on SuperSprint's, or picking up a set of eBay's. I picked mine up through RMeuropean.

Do what I did and have your shop modify the exhaust pipe side of the headers... They will mesh up with the block just fine.

You can count me in, decent fitment is an added bonus
These seem like the best option on the market anyways.

on the BimmerBrakes website is says the Gen 3 are $430 + free shipping, so we're only really saving $30?

It was mentioned earlier, but this is still a really cheap price for some headers that have a warrenty on fitment and actually work. I support the group buy only to help bring more business to a guy that's taking a risk selling headers for so much less than competitors.

Yes, but 30$ is 30$. I wish I had got my set 30 bucks cheaper!

They are already at a very reasonable price point given the quality of the parts and the guarantee from a reputable vendor. But sure, save another hundred bucks to buy them off ebay.. and deal with those headaches.

Curious as to why such a big hike in price?
I didn't pay nearly as much for my SS headers by BimmerBrakes when I bought mine...

I guess it's all in how you look at it...I second the points made by ams07r, Serdar255 & 2000_328CI...Furthermore, don't be surprised to see these shoot up in price as their SS Reps did not long ago...with eBay headers around $350 and becoming harder to find...and the superior design of the GEN3's...

I'll put that $30 towards shipping back from Swain Tech!

Potentially interested in the group buy, depending on how steep shipping is to Canada.

I would like to see some feedback first. Fitment, butt dyno, O2 clearance etc. Not to mention the physical appearance of the welds outside and inside.

Still don't understand why Anthony isnt promoting this new product on all the forums. Seems to me its a niche market for E46 parts and you'd want people to know you're shipping and get some reviews out there to drum up some hype.
