Saint Gobain glass part number

Could someone take a look at their driver door glass and, if it is OEM Saint Gobain glass, tell me:

A) does it stick up from the weather stripping - at all - when down;
B) the part number, which should start with 001?
C) is your passenger door 001025?

If for some reason you have access to a coupe as well, I would be interested in the same answers.

I have been in an argument with Safelite, who I believe either gave me the wrong glass or installed it improperly, for a couple of months now and could use some backup.

Saw a nice black vert with anthracite wheels just now in lake Worth. He's 001025 on both sides. Hmm. Need to find a coupe now I guess.

Hi Dave, I have a 2001 330 vert with the original Saint Gobain glass windows.

A) Drivers door window glass does not stick up from weather stripping at all when down. In fact, you can't even see the glass at all. (However on my passenger side, while it does not stick up at all, you can still barely see it. Probably a minor adjustment can be made and my drivers side is just adjusted a tiny bit lower)
B & C) The part numbers for both sides are the same as you listed, but also with a 43R in front of them if that matters, so 43R001025.

Hope this helps, good luck with Safelite.

Dave, I'm an original owner for almost 11 years and can attest to the fact that the glass in my car, Saint Gobain, is original. As Keaton1 says, the numbers on both sides are 43R001025. And on both driver and passenger doors, with the windows down, you cannot see the top of the glass. Just magically disappears! I took some pics with my cell that I'd be happy to email you. Just say the word.

Thanks guys. Safelite has confirmed that their system has the same p/n for coupe and convertible, so it's a classification issue. Not sure how to solve it, but at least they believe me...
