HPF E46 turbo Grassroots Support

Just thought I would creat a support forum for all us HPF owners. We can share r knowledge with each other and have support network which is not based on a business success or failure for r cars.

I want to be able to help as I have been helped with my car. Even though its been a long haul I am greatful for the experience to know the kit / tune and my car and am willing to share as best I can. I know others r very willing to do the same as they have with me.

Found that steed speed will cut us stainless gaskets for r manifolds that r reusable and better than the copper ones from HPF. They are dimpled so that they create a better seal.

Thread stickied. Fair warning, the OP has been awesome given his circumstances after purchasing his car, don't clutter this thread with crap. HPF worked with him to get his car up and running after his purchase from another member. He started this thread for technical support between members. Keep it on topic, to help each other out.

John Reed in Portland has been very helpful via email. I am not going to speak for him, but it's my understanding he more than happy to help support the HPF community with tuning. We just need to find a way to get our EMS unlocked.

I have a jumper harness adaptor with battery and rs232 for the older HPF AEM. For those who may need to send their AEM with logs to a tuner etc..... I am willing to lend it out or even build one if needed.

The harness I have is an adaptor that enables rs232 and battery backup on older AEM harness stage 1 thru 2.5. As for a stage 3 harness maybe someone that's gone proefi might have one they can part with.

Well we need more info on the black jumper box on dme side and the ems. If JP can shed some light on this matter it would be awesome. Since hpf is out of business he can now tell us details about the electronics to help us with the kit. The m&w ignition amp did not work out with the hpf ems and I am still trying to figure out why. Forex what is the functions of the jumpers inside ems ?

It sure would be nice to have the info... I recently had to trace back my TPS signal and could only do that by monitoring voltage and it was a real pain.... I know the box gives the antiquated AEM V1 H-bridge capabilities for running the Drive by wire, Meth and Traction control from my limited understanding.

I'm sure who ever has the rights to the HPF technology has option of disclosing that information to help us out including the pin out for the AEM. This would go a long way in helping us debug r systems / troubleshoot. It's not like this technology is sate of the art.. In fact the Infinity will be the next leap making the jumper box , harness and AEM V1 a distant memory. So releasing the tech info would not do any harm but only good.

My first post on the forum. Want to ensure I am on the HPF owners list. I will definitely need parts. Kirk can vouch for me if needed.

Forcefed I am in need of the HPF lower brace if you have one. I am also curious to what parts you have. I want to ensure I have enough parts for my car. Thank you in advance.
