I see alot of folk like the black kidney grills, some prefer chrome standard. I'm not sure on either of these... Best I've seen is colour coded. So one day soon, I'm gonna whip off them chrome grills, sand em down fully, prep and then respray topaz blue with clearcoat...

Heres the kind of look it will be (this beamer aint topaz blue tho but u get the jist) I think it looks sooo flushed and 'right'

What you reckon
I think it would look better colour coded mate like this which Hektik posted, although black would look nice, and on ours prob ok cos how dark they are!

I have currently done angel eyes (LED), changing rear clusters once my chrome bulbs arrive, and front & side indicators. Then I am looking at retro fit cruise, has mine didn't come with it. I have placed bid on a leather interior too! But I need to do something with my wheels tho, may sand them down and get a chrome paint as I don't have the facilities to get the black fully off! or just buy some new alloys not decided yet.

An added note, when the "SUN" arrives I am wet / dry sanding some deep scratches too and repainting, also Matt Blacking exterior trim!

Here is my angels!

What are you planning mate?

Ive done my clear rears (and fully reconnd the bootlights ) gonna order crystal clear sides and black/clear front indicators this weekend all bein well. after that or some point v soon......DIY sand down kidney grilles and repaint in topaz blue to colour code them......

Then try source some silver / chrome 18'' wheels feeling the m6 style for me. (deffo have to be 2nd hand tho!)

Maybe Paint rocker cover / new backbox with twin exit pipe (nothing too loud quieter if poss!)

Think that'll do for me apart from keepin it clean servicing etc,,, considering a k&n panel filter heard theyre actually v nice sound and give a slight power increase (maybe mental tho lol) but for 40 odd would be worth dropping in at some point.

YOU?????

The angels look great. Well top of my list is angel eyes like yours then paint the RC red and white, tint my windows paint or change my alloys and sort some new kidney grills out.

So far I've

Painted the interior trim silver

Painted my gauge needles red

Smoked the lights ( which I'm not sure on lol )

Fitted iPod aux up to my headunit all hidden away in my console trim

318 Owners - Get In Here!!!

Years ago I had a 318i e36 and must admit that I miss it's fuel economy every time I pump gas. It lasted forever (300k+) until someone fell in love with it and offered to buy it so I took him up on the offer.
