Agreed. Id also suggest you travel a bit. Sell the m3 since you basically have another one that you pay 325ci insurance on. Dont furnish your pad, just rent it out. Live with a buddy whos single, host get togethers (keep em classy) to attract women and when you do meet one, get hitched.

It just looks like you are coming to the realization that living for the aesthetics isnt everything. Thats why id suggest traveling out of your bubble and even relocating to a more prosperous area and renting out your pad.

The advice on trade school is also spot on. My cousin in law took a couple semesters at the local community college to get welding certs and must now be pulling in around 20+/hr after a yr at his new job. You cant beat that.

Sell one of your cars, if you are too attached to it to sell it anyway, just think, are my cars more important than my happiness. You sound like you may get enjoyment out of your toys but they are causing you more stress than they are worth.

It is astonishing how different it is to live somewhere else. I'm in south jersey and its not as pricey as NY and CA but its not cheap either. But I think its not even fair that you can make 8$/hour, buy a house and have two bmws (1 being a supercharged m3) not trying to sound like a ass but its just mind blowing.

I'm sure fellow OT'ers would unanimously agree on the following advice:

post pics (n00dz preferred) of hot chicks in your town. I do think we should move there and buy up the place and f*ck dumb b*tches all day.

It is not as easy as it may appear although Jersey is alot more expensive then here.
I wear the same cloths as I had from High school. I dont have internet, house phone or even basic cable at my house. Yes I have no tv at all. My cell phone is 4 years old and its a LGCF360 slide phone. cost me $30 per month.

In order to have the cars I do and my house I literally had to give up everything "normal" people just assume and take for granted. It was my choice to do it, and it's extremely hard but I manage month after month year after year. I don't know you or your situation there in Jersey but I can promise you if you were willing to live like me you could afford something 2 or 3 times the cost of your M3.

+1

Anyways my advice is to find employment in a bigger city where they have better jobs. If you stay where you are you are just going to have the same situation year after year.

As for owning a house, you are already ahead of the game. Kudos for that.

Exactly, I'm from south jersey, all the way down in Cape may county, the difference in cost of living there compared to Boston is ridiculous, not to mention the Midwest. I make a pretty decent living up here but it's not even worth buying a place.

The OPs house just outside of Boston would most likely be about $300k.
