Calling that interior "fair" is a bit of a stretch, no?

if it's still salvage title it needs to be inspected. usually pretty simple stuff, all done within a few hours.
Not sure why the OP won't do it since as far as I'm concerned Jersey doesn't have reconstructed titles so instead they give you a clean title again.

That interior is beat up from the feet up. Otherwise it seems like a pretty solid car! GLWS

Getting a salvage car inspected in NYS is beyond Annoying and time consuming. If this car is not already NYS inspected DO NOT BUY IT, you will spend over 2-3 months getting it inspected here.

I went through this 2 years ago thinking it was not a hard process... Yes the inspection takes 2 hours, but the appointment takes a month, then the new titles takes 6 weeks, and the paperwork, the DMV, the phone calls... But on the bright side if this car is currently registered in NY which it does not appear to be by the looks of the out of state dealer plate. Then it would be a great buy with no inspection.

I am in no way bashing the seller, I respect all E46F.com users. This is just a heads up for a nasty headache for any potential NY buyer.

yeah i heard NY is a PITA when it comes to getting a rebuild title. PA on the other hand does everything within a day.
