I am still using Microsoft Windows XP...

I don't know what it is because I just don't want to switch from this OS.

Its stable and everything runs smoothly. I never play games so a newer OS was never required.

I just use it for business applications, movies, music, browsing web, email, etc.

Too bad that in April 2014 support will end for Windows XP.

I've never installed Windows Vista, 7, or the new 8.

Anyone here still rocking this old OS?

I was/am a diehard fan of XP, but 7 is soooo much better. Make the switch, you'll be happy. 8 sucks, so stay far away. Or switch to Linux.

NT 4.0 was when Windows really hit its peak - anything after that and you are downgrading.

I still have XP on a few laptops... But my office desktop, media room, shop server and my two personal laptops run W7. It is SO much better than XP... If you really want a treat... Get a SSD for your laptop and run W7. Mine boots up in 25 seconds!

Windows 7 for me, less than a year for XP updates, after that I'd recommend XP only for offline use. I don't care for 8 either

I held out with XP while Vista came out and then went to 7. Seriously, 7 is SO much better.

I can't use XP anymore. Always throwing windows off the screen trying to snap them to the sides/top.

I use Windows 7 and OS 10.8.3 for the most part. I still run XP in parallels on my MacBook so I can use my car diagnostic software.

That's still pretty slow for an SSD.

I remember when I first got a SSD and had to reinstall XP (yes I still use it too). The installer told me the estimated time to completion was 25 minutes, and I sat there and watched it for a little bit to see how big a difference it would be. 5 minutes later it was finished.
