Haha love the painters tape, from a distance, it makes it look like a concept car all covered up.

That thing was zip-tied many moons ago. Hope he doesn't come here saying that since he has enough miles to reach the moon that entitled him to have it cut

Yeah I hate the stuff non-car people say. Just keep walking, lady...

you did do a great job at the tape though. how long did it take you? i would angle the sides more by the front doors to make it flow. like have it angle down towards the side skirt so its not a giant square. that also will cover more areas for rocks

Eh should be good enough. I think it was an hour or something. I didn't pay attention to the time.

Make sure to note the ugly and boring drive from Denver to Chicago....It really does suck driving through Nebraska and Iowa.

Should be a great drive.
And good thing you are avoiding the drive through Kansas. Most boring drive I ever took, that was last weekend.
But the drive through Nebraska, Iowa is not so exciting either. I'd try to do those drives at night if possible.

I got 28.9mpg through out, 68mph on an average with 1400 miles total covered. You will get more for sure.

May be a meet up in Denver if I am not working that day.

Have a safe trip and keep rehydrating, you have no idea how dry it has got in a last couple of days in midwest.

If you have time on your hands. Its about 35min detour from i40 on route 93, I would recommend hitting up Last Stop Arizona. It's a rest stop with awesome burgers & fries. Also, they have a menu of bullets aswell. Where else can you order a machine gun to shoot after lunch Or even a grenade launcher. It's pretty awesome. Definitely check it out if you have time or decide to head over towards Vegas

So you will be driving back from LA to Ny after bimmerfest? Care to pick up a hitchhiker?
