Well not sure exactly what car your working with, but from my research on my e46 m3; the stock intake is actually the most bang for your buck, outside of a couple mods to include an intake elbow and scoops, but otherwise keeping the stock intake is your best bet. It's hard to tell from the pic you posted but that set up looks kinda questionable to me.

I recently added this one intake tube, which is what I was referencing above. But otherwise kept the stock intake system.

The filter looks kind of like a ITG (expensive) They sell them for "build it yourself" projects race cars etc,, I wonder if someone combined it with some other CAI kit?

Looks dirty imo. Doesn't seem to be that good but I suppose it's dinan and it works.
