If your insurance is going to pay for the testing check out this link from T-nation on what to get tested.

make sure test is done first thing in am

that's when your test is highest, and why you wake up with a woody

blood needs to be drawn same time of day every time you test for t

@fugarza. I just got my bloods back and was down to 201. Talk about low T. Without reading this article by default I started juicing daily and my testosterone is skyrocketing. I just went in for another round of blood work and I will post the test results when they come back.

Thanks

Better a morning wood than none at all. Lol. Also better gains in the gym than having to use alternatives!

Nice! I'm curious to see what your next test will come back as. I couldn't get mine to budge past 550 and I tried for a whole year. On my last test I was at 421 and that was after a good 4-5 months of super clean living. No drinking/drugs, veggie juice, and paleo diet.

I finally gave up trying to raise my T level naturally and went for TRT.
If any of you guys are 37+ getting on TRT should be a no brainer. If anyone is intersted in it let me know. I can write up how ****ing awesome have high T is compared to where I was at before.

It's been about 2 months now. For the first month I was at 200mg of test a week split into 100mg shots every tues/fri. I'm not taking anything for my estrogen(E2) since when I started it was at 6.

My bloods at that amount the day before my next injection:
Test - 1250 at the lowest so most likely I was sitting around 14-1500 at peak
E2 -34

My e2 was higher then I liked so now I'm down to 180mg of test a week. I go for my blood work this friday so we'll see where I'm sitting.

I'm out of pocket. It's going to be difficult finding a Dr that will prescribe TRT for any guy not below 300.

I found a homeopathic doc that was attached to a golds gym. He's actually really good and knows his stuff for this.

$400 initial visit which includes physical. We talked for at least an hour about everything.

199 for each subsequent visit which needs to be done 2x a year.

$40 - 10ml of Test which lasts 2.5 months at 200mg a week.

$30 a year for needles and syringes

$50 blood work - I can probably get this covered by insurance but it's such a hassle getting my results in a timely manner. Probably get this done 4x a year.

So all in all once I'm dialed in it will be about 1000 year.

Not bad at all. Any sides you have to worry about?

Balding for those who suffer from MPB
Injecting yourself for the rest of your life.

Other then those two all the sides such as E2, hematocrit, and small nuts are treatable. To be honest the benefits of fixing low T far outweigh the cons for me.

Brain fog is the worst. I had no idea that I suffered from it for so long. Imagine that stupid slow hangover feeling. I had that 24/7. Reading a book took me forever. At the end of the page I would forget what I read at the top.

The past two years my muscle gains were slow. I blamed it on the boozing and the crappy eating. However when I cut that out I should have started getting leaner and stronger. I did to a point but it was pathetically slow. Losing weight was a battle and I had a stubborn midsection that just wouldn't go away.

Hitting the gym was already a habit so it wasn't tough getting in there. Doing the work was the problem. It was a constant battle of will and determination. Weights no matter how well rested I felt would be heavy and fatigue me immediately. Conditioning passed 8 minutes would kill me.

Now... I feel like a goddamn monster. 155 up to 167 in 2 months. All lean. I'm sure it's a bit water weight but not a lot. Fat has practically melted off my midsection and I haven't done cardio for 2 months. All I do is olympic lifting.
My clarity is sharp and I feel like a teen again. It's basically HULK SMASH!

When I was on TRT I used testim, worked like a champ. I would never be able to inject myself, if I ever go back on it would have to be some sort of cream.
