Exclamation Ok need help loss of power while driving!

I just bought a 2002 330xi and problem started one week after I bought it. I can be driving along and it doesn't have to be at any certain speed and all the sudden rpm's drop like it is starving for fuel and i can press accelerator just a hair further and it goes right back to normal,It does seem like it does it more often when tank is less than half full. No check engine light come on and there are no codes in system, I have changed fuel filter and it didnt help, I have heard a fuel pump sometimes will cause this but what i am having a problem with being a fuel pump is you would think giving it a little more accelerator would cause it act up more by giving it more gas but maybe I am looking at the picture all wrong. Some days it will not act up at all and other days i will act up like crazy. Any help with this or if anyone else has experienced this and know what is going on would b greatly appreciated.

-Fuel pump
-Cam sensors
-Vanos
-Gas pedal (Potentiometer)
-???

...it can be many things, it's almost better to wait until it throws some codes.

Confirmed - Intake cam sensor will down your car without throwing codes. My car pulled this trick intermittently soon after I bought it. I'm thinking that's why the seller was motivated to let her go for such a great price. It freaked me out every time the stall occurred and then always went away for days, weeks. $75 part probably discounted the car $5000?

Cam position sensor on exhaust side, Also wanted everyone to know that car runs great but service engine soon light come on which was never on before with a P0365 code which is a fault code for exhaust side cam position sensor so I thought maybe it just needed to be cleared and all would be good drove it again today and no light until 24 hours after I reset it, I am guessing possibly a faulty part cause connections are good car run great no surging and alot more power than before, going to call place where i bought sensors and see how many they have had trouble out of.
