Re: High beam problems please help

I downloaded NCS Expert from bmw coders it was part of a package had everything I need except the NCS part is in German so no luck there. I hit up paul180 but he doesn't have the proper program. I was thinking what if I put xenon lights in wouldn't it work then?

It will be mostly or all in German but you can still use it if you get enough documentation and proceed carefully.

Hot some other forums like Bimmerfest or North American motoring for help.

Update: the program I have is missing the usb.setup.exe so the computer won't read my car and I've had no luck finding a solution to this simple problem

Re: High beam problems please help

So I went to the dealership today and have a diagnosis turns out the LCM got wet due to the drain from the sunroof in the A piller beam being clogged and over flowing down onto the LCM. Which also rusted the airbag (they said its still safe). 1204.20 to fix that also it seems there's more another $4000 in **** that needs fixed.

Yikes! Run, Forrest, run! Get the estimate in writing, tell them you can't afford it and use that for your parts list. You can probably get a used LCM cheap and do it in an hour or two saving over a grand right there.

Good luck man. Keep us posted.

$250 to run a piece of weedwhacker line down the drain line and then blow it out with compressed air? Tell them to kiss you. If they're going to f you, they should at least kiss you.

Re: High beam problems please help

I got the LCM today! And I got some trimmer line ran it through the sun roof drain came out clean. So i took the a pillar trim off and the left upper air duct took out the old LCM and I can't find moisture or any sign of a leak. Maybe the dealer was trying to F me in the A no surprise. But I hooked up the used reprogrammed one I got and MY HIGH BEAMS WORK!! So much happier now..
