What do you use to shoot hog?

Wanting to pick up some Remington Hog Hammer (or anything with a Barnes TSX bullet) but cannot find any!

TAP, TSX or 62gr Fusion and similar works just fine unless you have some ridiculous sized hogs. Or you could swap out your upper and use just about any decent 300blk out there.

Fusion in stock here http://www.kygunco.com/fusion-rifle-...-bullets-24470

That 62gr Fusion is great ammo.
I would recommend anything with a bonded JSP, or else a monolithic copper BTHP like the Barnes TSX.
If you are considering Hornady TAP at all, the GMX is the only one I would recommend from them.

Never been. Was planning on going to Rifles Only down there are some point, but they moved much of their operations to Utah.

Not the ones down here... Full of worms! Been a lot of reports of people getting worms by eating hog meat. Not worth it IMO.

When I was in the Army, "hogging" or "hog hunting" had a different meaning. And was usually done in a bar.

Oh that sucks. Wild boar is delicious, but I definitely am not interested in eating worms. So you can kill and abandon a boar? You don't get citations for want and waste?

Nope! You're free to shoot them whenever. They are considered a pest in several states since they breed like rabbits. They can root up and destroy a lot of land in a little time. Plus they are dangerous.

Those will put them down hard. The 70gr TSX is an excellent load.
