The manual on E46's doesn't appeal to me. (notchy as hell on the ///M's) So I went SMG this time around.

You should get terraphatom (he's in PA somewhere) to flash you SMG to CSL specs, and re adapt your entire trans; it will make a load of difference.

The E30 is loads better. Looking at a E39 M5 manual.

Re: Come on ladies

^ Driving an e46 SMG M3 is awesome. Owning one is like keeping a chocolate ice cream cone in your pocket. It sounds great at first to have what you want but as time goes on there will be a price to pay. SMG can be great. But as with many manufactures new technology the first edition isn't the most reliable and can't be fairly compared to the performance and reliability of the time proven 5 or 6 speed manual or an SMG system designed some 12 years or more later.

Also this conversation would be better in a diff thread, so O.P. how bout some more chic pics!

Haven't posted for quite a while. Here is the car my 25 year old daughter is currently driving.
2002 M3 6MT sunroof delete. She has been driving manuals for 4 cars and does not want an auto.
I will NOT be posting a picture of said daughter so do not ask.

Is your 25 year old daughter not allowed to handle herself on the scary interwebs?

"pics of you with your toy" or something along those lines was this threads point, not pics of m3's we can find on google..

She is not into car forums! She likes to drive though. Her BMWs started with a 95 318IS (Dieter), then a 97 328IS (Super Dieter) and now the M3 which she is threatening to name as well.
She called her first manual car a 97 Sunfire GT, Klyde. (She was not too thrilled with "him")
She isn't afraid of much. She was a bar tender in a mid town Houston bar. I see you are from Oregon, one time she went to PSU.

Yeah, no wonder 99% of the females on here remain anonymous let alone post pics.

All internet wise guys. You know, sometimes it's ok not to be a smart ass, just sometimes.
I can assure you if they're any other chicks on here they're not gonna post pics if at all, cause you lames are such a tough crowd.

E36 is my previous, E46 is my current, not an M3 but adding something to the thread.

E46 is a work in progress.
