ECS tuning sent me an email so I said what the hell...digital vent gauge..

Had to remove the vent, take out the bottom two vent slats, drill a hole through the bottom of the vent for the wire. Didnt want to run it through the adjustable flap. Didnt want any melting of the wires in the winter while the heat was on so I decided to bypass the flap. They do come pre-installed in the vent but I just bought the item itself. It would have been alot easier pre-installed tho.... p3cars.com is where it originated from but ECSTuning was free shipping...Does battery level, boost level, throttle position, 0-60 times, digital speedo, rpm's etc. Plugs right into the OBD port..

Does it have to go in the vent? $400 is kind of steep.

Its made for the vent but you can put it anywhere. Its not flat on the back of it though so some cutting would be involved.

Is it touch screen? are there buttons on it? I wonder if it would fit in the blank spot on the instrument cluster where the gear selctor would be for automatics.

Or if not there the ashtray. Cut the cover to make it fit.

Not touchscreen. There are 2 buttons for navigation. It should fit in the ashtray but the vent is a more appropriate place. You will have to get an extension to the OBD port if you put it in the ashtray.

Nice I really like that. Do you recommend installing it yourself or buying it preinstalled?
