Well, I said bye bye to my 2011.5 E92 M3 and 2013 X5...

...hello to an X5. I was undecided between the Range Rover and the X5, but I ultimately went with the X5. I traded for a number of reasons, but I think the X5 was a good choice. I've always wanted to own one, and after owning so many M3's, 330's, and the 1 series, I was looking for a different experience (..until I can afford a Porsche 911 GT3 RS ). What do you guys think?

I don't like the body style of the new X5.

I've owned two E9X M3's and three E46 M3's (...along with two 330's, a 1 series.....and a G35 squeezed in between there somewhere) . I think it's safe to say that I've had my fun and "been there, done that". I don't have a family either. I just wanted an SAV. I plan to build a new track bike, and this will be my tow vehicle. Plus this thing will come in handy on snowboard/ski trips, etc.

Yeah, a guy I work with has one. I'm not a fan of 9 mpg.

It's a 3.5i with the power kit, not the 5.0 or X5. It's no worse than driving my V8 M3 really, and I baby my M3 to get 20 mpg combined. I'll baby the X5 and achieve the same or better.

Maybe!!!! I'm also throwing on the Eibach/MS spacers from my M3. It's going to look nice and wide.

Considering you race motorcycles, I see nothing wrong with this, actually a smart move. No need to have redundant sportiness!

That'd look sweet. Maybe some lowering springs to top it off, but that may not be practical for what you want to use it for. Looks really nice though

Friggin Negative Nancy in every thread. You must wake up with piss in your Gorilla Munch every morning thus doubling the effect of rustled jimmies.
