I spent a week there last fall. Get the travel vaccines plus a prescription for cipro in case you get TD.

Hit up Soi Cowboy, just to see it. It was pretty fun.

besides ladyboys, i heard thailand is pretty fun. lots of women to choose from (if you're into having that kind of time) and food is great.

i don't really think anything else is required for an out of country trip. (if you're single)
