Are any of these installs replacing an OEM navigation unit? Wondering if I will need any additional hardware, like the brackets or extension harness is that people are talking about if I get this to replace my OEM nav unit, or if its a plug and play drop-in.

Re: Just ordered a Eonon D5150! (New version of Eonon D5113/Enco B146)

Well there was always an extra step that had to be taken if u were swapping out the stick navi. I forget what it was exacyly because I did not have to do it myeelf. But im pretty sure it envloved running another cable from the trunk to the unit. That cable had to be purchased separately.

Most likey it's the same deal with the newly released unit as well. Im sure others will chime in.

Just ordered a Eonon D5150! (New version of Eonon D5113/Enco B146)

What exactly do you need in order to do this install? I have a 2005 325Ci without nav.

I'm totally gonna get rid of my D99+ and get one of these..said nobody ever.

Nice that there are other options. You guys have my respect for being Guinea pigs and donating your time. Definitely not a bad price for the unit though.

I have the D5113 now and even thought it has its drawbacks (like cant choose a damn playlist in ipod mode from the HU)
and now my D5150 purchase... they both cost me less than a Dynavin....

but to each his own I guess...

Well I'm waiting for the other kid 2 install this weekend so that I can see if he is having the issues ... I get iphone 2 charge and function but I can't get audio out any thing I input ie. cd , iPhone/iPod , sd card .... The Bluetooth is temperamental ... Feel like I have 2 start from scratch 2 pair and again the biggest problem I har right now is ... Audio! Everything else is perfect the navigation looks and seem 100x better than igo primo the phonebook works and contacts show up

I like it over all I'm tweaking with it tmrw so fix my audio problem

Install is easy 30 min max if ur tech savvy

I'm not sure if the non-HK still have a amp or not but I swear this sounds like they messed up the two blue wires on the harness to power on the amp.... it sounds like the power up amp wire is hooked up to the auto antenna wire...

what about the GPS when its navigating.. can you hear the directions its giving you?
