I agree. Any color should be possible.

To answer your question yes there is a red and orange option as to which nether are 100% match but no reason to turn away and it came with 90 degree iPod hook up will do full review later although it does have a hard cut off

Something to try for us orange guys would be to hook it up dim the panel and see what the voltage is on one of the leds then add a resistor to drop it to that voltage when car light panel isn't dimmed cause the dimmed orange looks spot on , may be more trouble than it's worth or may be something they can tone down through sotware, if my wasn't installed I'd try it maybe when I pull it back out to do the external mic , cause even drilled out my mic is not useable , just lots of what? What? Hello? When I call people

Pyro, I have a 99 bmw 323i and the cam don't work on mine either in reverse. I had he v1 canbus. Eonon is sending me the new power cable to go with the new v2 canbus they had exchanged me for the v1, I will let you now if it fixes the camera issue. My cam does work also in the aux mode only.

Just posted this in the other Eonon thread. Here it is again:

The orange color being correct really depends on what you compare it to, because technically there are two hues of orange used in the BMW dash. There is a yellow-orange used in the speedometer and a red-orange used in the clock/odometer, A/C, and stock radio.

The Eonon orange looks to match the yellow-orange hue of the speedometer but is slightly brighter. (Same hue, just a bit brighter). It doesn't quite match the red-orange used in the A/C unfortunately, which is what it sits closer to. Here's an image which should better demonstrate what I'm trying to describe. It looks slightly different to your eyes then to my camera, but this should get the point across.

I agree. I think the majority of the perceived color mismatch is due to the fact that the Eonon unit LEDs are brighter than the BMW dash LEDs. Dim them down a bit and they look a lot closer to OEM.

I'd like to know this as well. Tried several .avi files loaded on SD and kept getting Codec not supported errors. Sound would play but no picture.

They are busy asking people's credit card numbers and bank statements.

Sorry to hear about your situation daki but most of us have had good experience with Eonon. Granted, most probably used PayPal as did I and had no issues. Got my unit 3 days after I placed my order.

Ok, anyone able to help with this... when I turn my lights on the Eonon unit doesn't go into night mode even though in the settings it says it should?
also still got my reverse camera fault not working.
I have another problem - ever since I put this unit in my ABS/ASC/Fuel Gauge haven't been acting correctly - I wouldn't have thought anything of it but I am getting a Signal CAN ASC Fault. - I believe the CAN emulator has caused problems so could this be related?
