Front strut pinch pin sheared off

So in the midst of changing my front struts, the the head of the pinch pin bolt sheared off . Now, the bolt is still threaded in with no head to turn it.

Any pointers?

Old thread by now, but I hope you got it worked out. I would say options depend on your tools and how much of the bolt is showing. you could try vise grips on it, weld a new head on, or you might have to cut or drill it out.

My broke in half. I sprayed with WD40 and let it set and the I was able to use a Vice Grip to remove it. That was a close one.

Good luck.
