Care to elaborate on why decided to go with average... Any specifics that you do not like regarding this AMP... ANY known short commings?

Love to hear your views

Rockfords "power" series is a better line of amp. They use better components and more robust circuitry and thus they give a 2 year warranty on that series instead of 1 year on the "punch" series.

Rockford amps are as good as any high end amp. Rockford has become a very popular brand and for that many people feel they are less than they really are. Except, people forget that Rockford started as a small company too and they were building some of the best and they continue to create new products for their products, making them better all around.
MTX is another great amp maker, but people don't see them that way because they are sold in places like Circuit City and Bestbuy.

I use the 200 punch on my truck's 10" Infinity Kappa sub..............it sounds very clean. It is a good amp for the money.

Do you think I should knock out the ski pass.... Or at least drill holes there to let more bass pass into car...?
