My Visit to Maximum PSI

I am currently out in NJ for work I was able to make sure I finished all my work and meetings for the day so I could skip out early... jumped in the rental car and I had the opportunity to go visit Max PSI and check things out

First off I got to say Luke, a great standup guy... really took the time out of his busy day while trying to finish up work and before close to talk to me about things, discuss the kit, show me the cars, show me the shop and even a ride in the shop car

I have followed MaxPSI and the things Mike has done for a while with the e36 platform which might I add is still ridiculous. Then after the release of their stage one kit for the e46 along with all the info, data, and discussion on the forums about their product/kit I have ever increasingly become intrigued and have been edging over to that route (once funds are 100% available ). All I got to say now is Iím sold, Iím over the fence through the field and already pass the house on wanting this kit in my car!!!

I was able to chat with Luke about the kit where they stand, how they are doing in their R&D and what the future holds along with the potential of the current kits. Which all I can say is looking more and more promising for such a great company! I was able to look around the shop check out the current cars they were working on... Yep even got to see the Stage 3 build car, that thing is going to be beastly!!! They even had my turbo kit on the shelf waiting for me

The Ride Along:
First I canít say thank you enough Luke, for taking me out in Mikeís car (unfortunate I didnít get to meet Mike as he just left for Mexico ) The car was amazing I was impressed when the car was running the 93 map then realized, oh wait itís not even running the MS109 map right now. Luke switched it over to the MS109 map and BOOM MIND BLOWN!!! I wish we were out in KC where Iím from or something with even more room to open the car up, it just kept pulling and pulling it was great. Even had a guy on a S1000rr pull up next to us, but we were turning and they were going straight Now I am a bit upset I wasnít able to get any video of the ride along, but my phone was at like 4% and needed to find my way back to the hotel not being from around here, so I just took in the moment and enjoyed the experience. I did however manage to snap a few pictures.

As I said before Iím 100% sold on this kit, it was great, car was great, and people were greatÖthe whole 9 yards. While discussing things with Luke I basically became even more sold on the E85 kit, the details and the potential of it is just amazing. They are still working through things and getting to that point in which they car release the E85 kit, but are limited with staff and project cars at this time so when that time comes Iím 100% confident the finished product will be even more mind blowing than the MS109 kit and just as amazing and well built.

I must say I greatly thoroughly enjoyed my visit and was able to get first-hand knowledge on their products and kits along with the tour and what exactly goes into making one of these cars. So, Luke and the guys at MaxPSI Thank You and keep up the great work fellas!!!

lol! are you guys hiring? I will happily relocate to NJ and work at the shop changing oil or whatever for minimum wage and the occasional chance to drive mike's car.

But seriously I would move there to work for you guys

We are continually working towards both the Stage 2 E85 and MS109 release. We are still in the process of finalizing the stage two MS109 calibration. Hopefully it will be within a couple of days after Mike gets back from Mexico. Once that is done its on to the E85 stuff!

With Mikes car being the only car available to do R&D on, it limits number of projects we can work on. We have to work on one at a time. We prefer it that way to limit the customer involvement/risk with the development process.

Luke-

I was talking things over with a buddy of mine and he asked a good question. With the E85 kit Im assuming it would be the same as the MS109 kit. Having the ability to switch over from 93 octane to E85 with the sport button. Would you be able to still run MS 109 in the E85 setup? Obviously the mapping will be different, but could one run all 3 fuels/setups? Using the key only to "engage" the MS109 or E85 from which you could select either of those from the the boost controller?

Hope that makes sense... I have what Im trying to say in my head, but not sure it is coming out correctly.

-Kyle
