esstuning 2002 m3

hello everyone and thanks in advance for your help with this. hopefully my car gets sorted out asap.

it all started when i bought a 2002 bmw m3 smg
it was a fun car to drive, then it started having a raw fuel smell in the cabin. and sometimes stalling when comming to a complete stop. figured it was the maf so cleaned it and put new plugs in. seamed to fix the issues.

after all this i decided to buy a esstunning vt-445 kit. had my friend install it for me in his shop. shipped out the ecu for tunning. got it back and it wont stay running. sent the car to a shop for diagnostics. found the maf bypass was wired wrong. seamed to fix the issues except for one thing that is still effecting the car.

under hard acceleration from a dead stop in 1st gear. dsc off... the car studders very badly from 2500 rpm all the way up to 4000 rpm then seams to smooth out and run correctly.
i moved to miami and had my bmw shipped and drove it for about 500 miles like this. its now at a shop in palm springs. they found that its running extremely rich everywhere in the rpm range. mpg is very bad and covers the rear of the car in black soot. things the shop has tried so far

1 new plugs
2 coil swap
3 maf bypass wiring
4 road testing with a/f guage
5 reset the ecu learning
6 recent work being done... bought a used oem ecu. getting reflashed and coded to my keys.

has anyone else ever experienced this?
