Black speaker covers on grey rear deck?

I need to replace my grey speaker covers on the rear deck. Would black look good on the grey deck, or would it stick out like a sore thumb?

Ah you are confusing me.. You should stick with your original thread you started. This way I would have known which grill you are looking for.

I found this link idk anything about the seller. But then I started thinking. Each part should have a number. So I took the number off of this part. Eventhough it was black, it was the same fit. Then I remembered that the grill that you were looking for were the same that's in my old 2000 328ci. I'm guessing anything pass 2001, the grille is different.

Anyway I took that number 51468243305 and googled it. Nadda. So I went to one of the sponsored site to find out how to read the part no. (i think they are a sponsor). .. Anyway if you take the first 11 numbers you can search on any of the sponsors here to find your part.

So I changed the number I found on the Ebay photo to this 51468243 and found these Cover and the missing pat that you could insert. For some reason that number worked on this site.

Okay so now I'm curious. I'm guessing that since this speaker grille was in my 2000 328ci, maybe I can find the part no. on realoem.com ??? Oh yeah there it is. idk why I didn't think of it before. Here is the part no. for your car.

51468243681 left grille
51468243682 right grille
more numbers on the link

I plugged the number into Getmybmwparts.com and it came up. The grille is $25

I'm guessing for future ref. you might have to check 2000-2001 models.

NP this type researching was new for me too. I know that when you have the part number its easy. Someone here helped me this month with the part number for the wiper blades inserts. It saved me some money especially having the right part no. The bonus for me was that I was going to be in the area, so I opted to pick up the parts which saved me the shipping cost.

glad I could help.
