Got robbed again

First, why did someone you know rob you?
Second, why do you keep cash in your wallet, let alone $500?

The first time I never could prove who did it. There was 4-5 people that could of but it was only $200 so I kept my mouth shut for the most part.

Second time I cashed a check and laid a bank money order on my table, Safe place right? Well my fathers friend was over and after he left it was GONE. This is a old friend of his that he's known his whole life so it's hard for him to just ditch the worthless pos. I told dad to keep him away from the house and he did for months.

This time I had $700 and some change, a few twenties, fives, and ones... I went to the movies to find the small bills were all there but only two of the $100 bills were there. My credit cards were also removed from there normal location and put back in a different pocket.

Comes to find out dad brought him over to grab some fishing stuff. I was sleeping and I had no clue what was going on.

The real fucked up thing is he's been staying rent free in one of our houses for some time now. I want him GONE.

1. My house is normally secure, I dont let "people" in. If I had known about this I would have gotten up and ran him off.
2. You have to ask that, not seen any of the crap I buy on a weekly basis? $700 was nothing, I just spent most of it.
3.Because I have more self control. I will give dad a chance to recover my money, all $1200 and kick him to the curb...If he ignores this like he did last time then I will take my wallet down to the police station and have them finger print the plastic cards, I've got about 20 cards that he went through so hopefully there will be some good prints. Hopefully he copied down the numbers and I can track him via internet use.
4. The first time I could not pin him, the second I could but I let him pass because he's dads oldest friend...I let dad deal with it and put the word out that he was not allowed anywhere near me or the house....

If nothing sticks legality wise and dad fails to control his dog or get some cash back then I can deal with it in other ways. Tires are expensive, .22's aint....

Too messy. Tires are a clean job and expensive. He'll probably think they got slashed or jabbed.

Should have called the police the second you noticed it and shouldn't have touched anything really. I'm also, more or less, obligated to advise you NOT to retaliate in any way. Get police involved at this point. That's not chump change.

I think you'd know immediately if you were robbed... Since thats the taking of property by force or fear. I believe you were burglarized.

Either way, that sucks!

Re: Got robbed again

At under 1000 $ the police probably won't be putting too much effort into it. Last time my old appt was robbed the police laughed at me when I asked if they were going to dust for prints. I guess solving crime and catching bad guys only happen in the movies.

Yup... Someone tried to steal one of my cars out of my driveway and when I asked the police if they were going to dust for prints they basically laughed and said its a waste of time.

1) Dig through dumpsters in the ghetto.
2) Obtain a thrown away Hi-Point .45 ACP or 9mm.
3) ????
4) Profit.
