Style 68 msport wheels worth?

Hi guys,

I tired to sell my style 68 wheels on eBay and couldn't even get $250 for them? What are they worth? Or are they just fit for scrap?

I'd imagine you could sell for $250 easy. IMO they look great and would make a sweet winter wheel set

Bridgestone potenza with 50% on the front. None on the rear.

Sadly 17" just isn't cool anymore
Forget that any lower profile probably only makes the ride worse and doesn't do very much for handling....

I'm after a single rear style 68 (8.5"? - no tyre needed) if anyone has one...

Sam

I don't believe so
In my car (1999 model) the 8.5" doesn't even fit the wheel well

My 8.5 fitted fine when I had a flat. I will check tomorrow.

Postage for the set can be arranged

Must have done something wrong, because I own a 99 323I and I'm rocking the M68's with 255 rears. PLENTY of room for more rubber back there.

To answer your question on their value, the average price is 400$ for the set in good shape with good tires.
If you don't have tires, 250$ should be easily attainable. They're not worth much and frankly not in demand either.

I would give you 250$ for your set just to have spares (even though my M68's have been chromed)

Very random.

Problem with M68's is they're very very common. But finding them in mint shape is rare though.
Enthusiasts these days want rare wheels or classics (ie CSL's, M3 19's, etc).

I meant the spare wheel well
Fits the back (and front) of the car with no issues.

Drift mechanic your pretty far from aus aren't you.

Your right people do like 18's and so on. But at $250 I'm not targeting that market. For a straight set of msport wheels 250 is so cheap. I'd keep them if I had the space.
