Up here in Canada, eh?

Just joined.
Impressed to already see people changing their own CCV units. VERY impressed.

I'm just looking for OIL recommendations. (I know I'm in the wrong forum, but looked briefly and not seeing a list of favourite lube products anywhere.)

CU around, guys. (Pics to come)
:-)

Price sounds good. I'll need to pick up 7 litres, right?

Do you buy from a "chain" store that might have an outlet down here in St. Kitts?

Yeah, I saw the Rotella. That's what I run in my Yamaha Venture touring bike. It's supposed to be super heavy duty, suitable for big diesel equip. Can't be bad.

I don't doubt that the Liqui Moly is good stuff......Kraut oil for a Krautmobile and all that.....but, I'm 17 minutes from the border, and while I'm over there I can tank up with mid-grade at under a buck a litre.....pick up a gallon of milk for $1.79 and a six pack of Miller tall-boys for $4.49!
(To say nothing of golfing with my buddy at his course near Lockport: $21.50 for 18 with a cart!!)

Every time I go over.....I wanna stay.

Came home with my two jugs of Mobil 1 (for less than the price of ONE, here in Canada)....and also picked up a "bonus" 36 mm impact socket for under $7 at NAPA.

I'm sure it was designed for axle nut removal...but when combined with a 1/2" to 3/8" convertor it's the under-10-bucks solution for easily changing the oil filter...made the whole process a snap. (Except for the crawling under the car part!) (Just noticed the word "car" in my previous sentence appears as a hyperlink........and when you click on it, you see an ad for a GMC Terrain SUV. Considering the site we're on, that's pretty RUDE, isn't it!?! :-) (Here I am, back editing, one minute later.......and the word "car" is no longer a hyperlink. GM must have heard me bitching. Cool.)
