stealthone is an interface for the valentine one radar detector that displays the v1 alerts in the mid amd or the nav screen. I also allows auto muting of v1 below a certain speed you pick and the best it allows muting from the steering wheele controls. you can find. out other details from the website http://www.stealthone.biz/ despite it saying you can buy it on the site you wont beable to he stopped selling them a few years ago._nr_

Basically, it integrates a Valentine One radar detector with BMW's factory components (http://www.stealthone.biz/).

Where do you put the actual V1 unit with this installed?

Although it looks pretty cool, I find it almost pointless (as well as any other of the stealth displays).

1. When the cop is radaring, and it is going off, he is in his car anyway and can't see anything.

2. Any semi intelligent cop should know what a little black box is on the windshield regardless if it has lights on it or not.

3. What happened to just unplugging it if you did get pulled over?

Idk, maybe its just me, or maybe I'm missing the point. It is kinda coll though and something to brag about, James bond like. Glws

well sueleen this is a forsale ad not an opinion post but if you looked at the link you will find some other benefits the stealthone does including automute at a programmed speed and automute of sound from steering buttons. also having the readout on the mid helps to see the alerts better for the people that mount the v1 high on winshield.

I mean I was interested if maybe it would come with replacement sensors that worked like the sensors on the v1 and the v1 was used as a 'control' unit... It just does not seem very "stealth" to me if the box is in plain sight.... Not trying to crap on your thread, told you GLWS, and I'm sure the people that buy these/are interested in these already know where the unit mounts (unlike me, until now). Sorry, but once again GLWS.... It is cool none the less
