MAX PSI Turbo Stage I kit - getting installed

Hey guys -

I am getting the MAX PSI Turbo Stage I kit installed. I am getting the following:

1. MAX PSI Stage I kit
2. AEM Wideband and eBoost II.
3. Southbend stage 4 clutch.
4. Subframe reinforcements with all the differential bushings rehaul.

I will post updates as they come available from MAX PSI. A few pictures attached.

My experience has been outstanding with the guys at MAX PSI! This includes shipping, receiving and start of work on my car.

Hey guys,

We got Sheraz's car here mid morning on Monday. So far the stock components have been removed, the Southbend Stage 4 clutch has been installed, and the majority of the turbo kit has been installed.

We also dropped the subframe and found a few minor cracks. Luckily we caught these before the chassis saw boost!!

On the agenda for Tomorrow, we will be cleaning up the mounting points and welding our reinforcement kit in, followed by installing a set of AKG black sub frame bushings, rear trailing arm bushings, and diff bushings. Once the sub frame is back in, the fuel pump will be installed and the last bits and pieces of the kit will be mounted in place. Then it is on to the dyno!

Looks great guys.... Does the bracket for the turbo require a new/different motor mount? I just installed Vibra-Technics Motor mounts about 3 months ago and love them reason I ask...

We include a different motor mount arm and motor mount for the passenger side with the kit. There is a potential your new motor mounts will work. Send me a picture of them and I will tell you.

Stage 4...? Isn't that a bit of an overkill for this kit? Or is the OP planning on more "PuuuurrrrRRRRrr" in the future

Always better to have more than less when it comes to a clutch. The power of this setup is perfect for the 4, should get quite a bit of miles out of it at that level. Also pricing on 1 - 4 is separated by only a few dollars, probably less than $150 stage 1 to 4. Basically why not.

Looking good guys, when we gonna see some built motor numbers?? =)

Hey guys,

Just a little update.

The car has been up and running for a couple of days now. We have been getting some street miles on the car to break in the clutch. We tried another injector set up to eliminate some hardware from the kit. Even though the injectors are rated for the same flow rate, they do produce different driveability results. Eventually we will be going to this new set of injectors on the stage one kits, but with Sheraz driving around in a rental car, I want to make sure his car is done in the time frame allotted. With that said, we will be going back to the original set up that the tune is currently calibrated for. Those will be going in today, then it is on to the dyno!

Here are some pictures for eveyone:

When Sheraz's car showed up, we noticed a fair amount of unwanted differential movement. With the subframe dropped, you can see why! All of the stock differential bushings were torn. We popped those out and installed the AKG black differential bushings, subframe bushings, and rear trailing arm bushings in the car.

We also Installed our sub frame reinforcement kit (this includes the trunk welding):

Here are a couple of pictures of how the car sits today with the gauges installed:

I know Sheraz is excited to get his car back! We hope to have some numbers soon!
