Angry BMW and other drivers

Got a question, Ive noticed since Ive been driving BMWs a 7series, and now a 330xi 06' that peoples attitudes on the road are stupid, they try to race, stare, just aggressive. I mind my own business I dont bother anyone but Ive noticed it in the last 2months. Has anyone else noticed peoples attitudes towards BMWs? like people want to race or they hate BMWs??? thanks:

I've gotten only one moron on my commute who wanted to race. He was in a G37 going back and forth while I'm doing 70 mph. I didn't really acknowledge him. Racing for more than a few seconds would be well over 100 mph and an easy way to kill yourself on the road I was driving. I was annoyed that he kept driving right next to me though.

Most people probably don't want to mess with an M3.

Never had that problem. But if you are having it (real or otherwise) the only thing to do is to sell the 330xi. How much do you want for it?

Never had anyone try and "race" me; thank god. My car is stock, so it goes unnoticed by jdm tools. Also, BMWs are fairly common here.

Are you sure you're troubled by people NOT staring at you and NOT wanting to race you, and that you somehow wanted it to happen ?

j/k ...sort of.
Personally I haven't experienced any negativity from other drivers when I am driving the BMW, at least none that I could attribute specifically to being in the BMW. (at least not yet)
Some days people just get aggressive towards you no matter what you drive...I don't think BMWs are that special to evoke mass anger from other drivers unless you do something to show-off.

Yeah, you sound like a winner. You're on the wrong forum.

My Ride: is for chicks
Right when i bought my car I had a 13 yr kid spit gum on my hood because he thought it was funny i guess? Why my car? i have NO idea.... I think it was because I parked it all by it self in the corner of the lot at a hotel..... As i was pulling off the kid comes out pointing and laughing.... Needless to say I stopped and let him know he probably shouldn't spit on peoples car anymore.

My Ride: 330CI
I find myself driving more aggressively in my 330CI and zipping in places I would never consider in my 5.9L Jeep. This puts me places I wasn't two seconds ago - which can surprise other drivers not paying attention. I've noticed being cut off by other drivers happens more frequently in my BMW. Taking turns and on/off ramps are now places I tend to zoom - because my E46 can.

Maybe this ability is what irks other drivers. We just take the handling and power BMWs offer for granted.

Lol, I got into a race (sprint) with another guy he had a manual 330xi, I an auto 325xi. I lost.
Maybe it's where you live, in atlanta/Miami nobody gives a flying duck. I see ferraris, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, M BMWs, and the occasional RR, et al multiple times a week during my 20 mile highway commute. I often see rare sports cars bought by dealers at auction every now and then also. I takes more than a 3er or 7 to warrant a stare(unless you're a fanatic and see a nice e46) I'm pretty sure it's you.
