Now that I own the car and acknowledge the Dinan parts on my car, I've never reverted to using that picture again. I was definitely in the wrong here.
I will request that you remove that picture on M3forum. Don't know why it bugs me this much but it does.
I agree sometimes the crowd is tough but come on dude that wasn't right at all.

I'll have it gone by this afternoon, and you're totally right.

But when people are claiming I have fake Dinan badges, and I don't have actual points to equal the badge, I reverted to extremes before I knew where to look on the car.

Again, for this I am completely at fault.

Thats alright, not pissed at what you were trying to prove but I'm just sad you used my serial number.

If Mitchponton had not brought up the fact that his photo of his car was cropped and passed off as belonging to the OP -- would the OP have revealed this information on his own? This thread is pretty old now. My guess is not.

I'm thinking that the OP would have revealed this information. Its a shame that the OP felt the need to try and make his car something that it isn't. I am envious of lots of cars that are on the forums here that aren't Dinan, M3's and stuff. I would love to have some of the 330i's on here. Just show what you have and be proud of what you have not what you want or what others have.

Tock, really man? You totaled both of your BMW's and you are giving this guy crap? About what? The fact that its not pristine. That's what the younger generation is good for. Having the stupidity/willpower to restore the cars that get aesthetically damage. Like me. Now it is damn near perfect for 12 year old car. You need to stop worrying about OP and worry about learning to drive a fukn car. Seriously.

Who honestly cares what OP thinks/says what he can sell it for. Its his car and besides some body work, could be a very good one at that. If your car was produced beyond May 2003 you don't have to worry about the rod bearing failure. If it was going to fail it probably would have by now. Contact dealer for info.
you just defended a fraud. good job.

nuts...I am running out of popcorn.

TA-DA!

All problems gone
The only thing I am spewing is the truth. As I continue reminding everyone here, go ahead and call me what you will. Nothing changes the facts of the situation. I am not the one who instigated this fight. OP began the instigation when he made the decision to be dishonest about the M3 in question. I've said it to you before and I will gladly say it again; get your facts straight before you try arguing with me.

OP resorted to lying and using the serial number of another vehicle to 'prove' that he had the full Dinan S2 package on his car. I think it's pretty obvious that he's full of sh!t.

Real Dinan,

Stage 3 Dinan Software

Free Flow Dinan Exhaust

High Flow Intake Systems/High Flow Air Mass Meters

High Flow Dinan Throttle Bodies

Stage 2 Suspension System (Koni FSDs)w/Dinan Blue Springs

I'm missing something I can't think of...

http://www.dinancars.com/dinanbadge.aspx

Is how each item adds to the 10 point Dinan system. PM for pics!
