Their range is about 2,300 miles, I'm not sure that you can add a fuel pod to one. Aerial refueling is probably possible, but with the zombie apocalypse hitting, are they really supporting that mission? Especially over all the friendly central asian countries

The movie got a good review on CNN. Overall, it looks like people are mostly relieved that it isn't the suckfest that was anticipated. I read and enjoyed the book, but I'll be sure to take this movie for what it is: a new story based on the idea of the story in the book. There's not much point in trying to compare the two (a mistake also made by people reviewing the Les Miserables movie recently).

Just saw it at the drive-in, entertaining movie. I liked that it got right to the action, zombies chasing them within the first couple minutes and eating people faces. Superman on the other hand was the second movie and we almost left it was so bad.

haha! I thought the same thing too. And then when they landed at Camp Humphries in S. Korea they barely refueled, like no more than 5 minutes. Then they made it all the way to Israel from Korea? Rightttttt

Not a bad movie though. It was decent.

Here's a question, what is Brad Pitt doing in a Zombie apocalypse movie anyway?

I didn't think he was the type, but hey, maybe he wanted to do something different. He played the part well.

He's a pretty versatile actor, actually.

I agree, it's not his normal role, nice to hear he wasn't completely out of place. Still have not seen it yet, should I? Globe hopping zombie movie sounds pretty good. Was there zombie action? I'm assuming it was pretty tame because it's pg-13

Oh I know. He's a great actor and I've enjoyed a lot of his films, but typically zombie movies have been the realm of B list types or not so famous/serious actors (my opinion), hence the question

It's all right, decent mindless entertainment. Don't go in expecting Oscar material though.

There was good zombie action. PG-13 today is nothing like PG-13 when I was 13

Ah, okay--that makes good sense. But since the zombie genre is enjoying its moment in the sun with The Walking Dead, etc., I can see how he'd be willing to helm a movie like this.

I have a limit on my suspension of disbelief. Zombies I can take. But when you start showing me an iridium phone that works well (i could barely get one to work 100 miles across Louisiana) and a C-130 flying halfway across the globe, you've lost me.
